Description and Table of Contents
Description
As Mozambique emerged from a devastating military conflict and a decade of failed socialism, the World Bank contributed advice for most aspects of the reform program to set the country on the road to recovery. This volume analyzes the projects that the Mozambican government instituted with donor assistance and examines the successes and failures of that aid. Although Mozambique has progressed remarkably in many areas, severe problems remain unsolved. The report proposes a method to coordinate aid efforts to alleviate these problems and to prevent wasteful duplication of efforts by the various aid agencies.
