Description

This bibliography provides a wide range of references under three principal headings: versions; critical studies (books and articles); and translations. It pays particular attention to the significant authors in the field: Tirso de Molina Sorrilla, Moliere, Mozart, Byron and Shaw, and also takes account of current artistic and critical works in the fields. The text limits itself strictly to the different versions of the Don Juan myth (there are no entries to cover "Casanova" or "Lovelace"). A list of translations from around the Western world is also included.
