内容説明

Competition law, at both the Community and UK levels, plays an ever-increasing and important role in regulating the conduct of businesses. Competition law can affect business contracts, take-overs and mergers, co-ordinated actions, pricing behaviour and also state subsidies. Businesses require graduates to be aware of the significance and effect of the provisions of national and European competition law. This text provides a guide and outline to the general policies behind the main provisions contained in Community and UK competition law in a structured framework. The book is designed to be user friendly by seeking to consider competition law in a context to ease understanding, and by incorporating a glossary of useful terminology and sections at the end of each chapter for discussion or further reading.
