Description
This study gives an overview of the state of German Studies in British and Irish universities; in particular in terms of topics taught and methodologies used in undergraduate programmes. Any such course provision faces the challenge of striking the right balance between academic standards, the expectations and interests of the students, demands by potential employers and the tightening of resources.
