This introductory text addresses interpersonal and group communication, public speaking, debate, parliamentary procedure, and oral interpretation. Based on the concept that oral communication is a skill learned by doing, students are involved in thinking and expressing themselves from the first to the last chapter. Objectives contain specific learning goals set at the beginning of each chapter. Key Words list important words that are introduced in the chapter.
