Description
"The greatest American dramatist of our age" (Evening Standard) Everybody Wins is Arthur Miller's first original screenplay to be filmed since The Misfits. Taking as its starting point his own short play, Some Kind of Love Story, it involves a private investigator seeking the evidence that will enable him to redress a wrongful conviction for murder. At first unwilling to be drawn in to the shady politics of a small town community in England, O'Toole soon discovers a nest of intrigue and corruption that he cannot ignore. His determination to uncover the truth is strengthened when he finds he is in love with Angela, who stands at the heart of the mystery - but is she a victim or a suspect?
