The "deux Philostrates" mentioned on t.p. of the original may be identified with the Philostrati who are designated the Athenian and the Lemnian in Philostratus / Graham Anderson. 1986. Anderson treats the Athenian as probable author of the 1st series of Imagines and the Lemnian as the probable author of a later series
