Description

This study focuses on how four of the world's most advanced cities - London, New York, Paris and Tokyo - are responding to modern transport demands. It investigates the international connectivity of each city by looking at access to each city's airports, outlining the population, employment and social structures of each. The report concludes that further road building will not eliminate traffic congestion and presents suggestions on how each city can draw lessons from each other in order to improve their transport systems.
