Description
Natural gas is crucial to the former Soviet republics in the Caspian area for their own energy supply and as a potential source of export revenues. This report investigates the gas resource base of the area, gas supply, demand and trade patterns, the state of the republics' gas industries, infrastructural needs, and projects and the constraints on their implementation.
