Description
Following the revised step-by-step system of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, this manual illustrates the winter sport of snowboarding. It includes sequential drawings and photographs of all manoeuvres, as well as tips from some of the biggest names in the sport: John Calkins, Mike Estes, Matt Goodwill, Lowell Hart, Mike Jacoby, Craig Kelly, Hillary Mayberry, J.D. Platt, Jimi Scott and David Sher. The text is geared to the needs of beginners and intermediates, but also includes plenty of advice for experts. What began as a teen sport in the Northeast and the West of the US is catching on with adults. This guide covers the absolute basics (which end is the front?), building gradually to difficult manoeuvres.
