Description and Table of Contents
Description
Featured in this book is a new pronunciation system, new illustrations and a comprehensive index. A programmed approach is used to teach students to build thousands of medical words from Greek and Latin prefixes, suffixes, word roots, and combining forms; recognize medical words and meanings; learn the correct pronunciation of new terms, using standard dictionary symbols; spell medical words correctly, and use a medical dictionary intelligently. The programmed format and the pedagogical aids enhance learning and retention.
