Description

The World Remade is a full-length study of Graham Greene's employment of the thriller and the detective story. The author interprets a range of narrative strategies, thematic elements, and philosophical or theological meanings in Greene's fiction that emerges through his exploitation of the motifs and methods of mystery writing. In addition, The World Remade investigates how Greene's texts might be read in light of a number of contemporary critical discourses, with the intent of indicating how Greene may be understood in the current spectrum of literary theory and dialogue.
