内容説明
"Diabetes Management: Step by Step" is a guide that can be used by all health care professionals. It provides a unique and very practical approach to the subject, and consists of three component parts. Section I: Skill Sheets - concise clinical guidelines aimed at facilitating day-to-day management of diabetes. They provide a comprehensive review of patient care. Section II: Clinical Sciences - descriptions of real-life clinical situations, and are intended to address some of the grey areas in patient management. Each scenario is followed by some thought-provoking questions and suggested discussion points. Section III: Self Assessment MCQs - provides a short multiple-choice questionnaire on each aspect of diabetes management. It can be used to gauge the level of understanding at any stage. By combining practical management guidelines in Section I with problem-based learning techniques in Sections II and III, the reader is encouraged to apply the knowledge he/she has learned to realistic situations, where there is often no easy answer.
