Description and Table of Contents
Description
These proceedings examine the recent changes in aerospace manufacture and the development of new approaches and strategies. The papers provide key considerations and guidelines for successful project management. Manufacturing in aerospace has encompassed the dual problems of incorporating new materials and structural forms, whilst maintaining the same high standards of manufacturing repeatability. At the same time the industry has become much more flexible and competitive in terms of manufacturing efficiently in order to suvrvive an increasingly competitive environment.
