Description
In all industries there is a never-ending need to bring products to the market-place in the shortest posssible time frame and for the lowest possible cost. This is particulary true of the aero-engine industry whose concept to product cycle is typically measured in years. This text presents papers which discuss the current developments of computer applications in the aero-engine industry and exposes what might be available in the future. The collection of papers from both industrial and academic research should be of value to engineers, designers and managers from all sectors of aero-engine and associated sectors of industry.
