Description
With the world's major religions arranged by section, each of which contains stories and features, maps and illustrations, this book provides readers with a tour of the pilgrim destinations of the world. Detailed accounts of saints and visions include special features on the Crusades, St Helena, St Peter's Basilica in Rome, the Shrine of St James of Compostela, the "Canterbury Tales", the "Bhagavad Gita" and the neolithic world.
