Description and Table of Contents

Description

Designed to show non-profits what their peers are doing, this book presents data and summaries of compensation packages in the private, government and non-profit sectors. In doing so, it examines the different elements of compensation and benefit packages, including salary, insurance, pension plans, tuition reimbursement and holiday. It also provides some of the more innovative compensation and benefits packages nonprofits have designed to attract, retain and motivate staff. In considering cost control and budget constraints, it also looks at such strategies as bonuses, raises, creative work schedules and non-cash compensation.
