This proceedings contains papers presented at a specialty conference entitled Transportation, Land Use, and Air Quality: Making the Connection, held in Portland, Oregon, May 17-20, 1998. The proceedings presents recently developed state-of-the-art approaches that explore the relationships among transportation, land use, and air quality around the theme "Making the Connection."
