Volume 1 covers developments in our understanding of hydrological systems, provides guidelines of appropriate methods for large-scale modelling, and details the effects of changes in water quality and quantity, and the impacts of floods, droughts and pollution incidents. Volume 2 examines the magnitude of risks to groundwater, as well as looking at the hydrology of arid and semi-arid environments and improved techniques for resource management, whilst volume 3 begins with coverage of the management of environmental hazards such as flood hazards through to erosion processes, and ends with a look at large-scale urban hydrology such as strategic drainage systems.
