Description
For centuries, during the summer months, Japanese have made the pilgrimage to Fuji, climbing the mountain as an act of worship and spiritual realization. This video records the ascents of two pilgrimage groups, each starting in Tokyo and climbing the mountain, but following its own distinctive religious practices.
