内容説明
The impact of urbanization and the globalization process on the lives of people all over the world is examined in this book. It assembles the thinking of 46 distinguished national and international policy makers, academics, urbanists, and leaders of public and private enterprises and the media. They discuss how to make cities safer, healthier, and more humane and sustainable. It is argued that cities must become the sources of positive visions of people - visions in which all people have a safe, healthy and sustainable environment in which to flourish.
