内容説明

Part of an eight-volume series offering young people a view of the ancient tribes of North America, this book describes the lives of the Indians who lived in the Plains. The lifestyle of these tribes (the Crow, Sioux, Comanche, Pawnee and Cree) was unique in that it only evolved after contact with whites. The book details the roots (tribal family trees and tribal languages), clothing, shelter, hunting, first contact with the whites, tribal wars, folklore and myths, religion and religious ceremonies of the tribes.
