内容説明
This laboratory manual provides the researcher with a specific group of techniques, emphasising throughout hands-on information. A variety of protocols using molecular, cellular and physiological techniques are presented in detail and appropriate animal models have been selected for the study of ageing and ageing-related diseases. Non-invasive in vivo techniques are described for the study of Alzheimers dementia and cardiovascular diseases, while techniques for detection of oxidative processes are presented to explore the role of free radicals in causing cell damage and mutations as well as techniques to study apoptosis for its role in cell ageing.
