Description
This book's foreword is by Sir Dennis Periera Gray, Chairman of the Trustees, Nuffield Trust. It is published in association with the Nuffield Trust. 'John Fry, 1922-1994, was essentially a dedicated, single-handed GP, whatever the changing trends in general practice of the last half century. His was in the traditional mould of one-to-one caring for patients, not sharing responsibilities. Yet, it was through sharing the intelligence of his single-minded doctoring that he helped transform this vast field of medicine.' - Max Blythe, in the Preface.
