内容説明

Rehearsal score (Eng/Ger) Inspired by a performance of the 15th century Noh-play, The Sumida River, Britten presents this Parable in the form of a medieval religious drama with plainsong taking the place of the traditional ancient Japanese music. The simple yet moving story tells of a demented mother who seeks her lost son, only to find his grave by the side of the Curlew River.
