People with learning disabilities have to a large extent been excluded from history. Much history in the form of the personal experiences of people with learning disabilities has gone unrecorded. Their history remains largely unwritten, and what history they do have is not so much theirs as the history of those acting on their behalf or against them. This book looks at ways and means of recovering at least some of their past and beginning to chart aspects of their hidden history.
