Description

The 1981 excavations of Lefkandi discovered a monumental tomb' containing a hero's burial. This first part of the final report is a detailed study of the pottery most of which comes from the covering mound. As the largest assemblage of pottery of this period it is of considerable importance in its own right, and also because it provides the mid-protogeometric date to the monument. 174p, 81p of photos and drawings.
