内容説明

This work provides a systematic exposition of the ways of enforcing European Law, along with the mechanisms that afford protection against unlawful action on the part of the Community Institutions. Beginning with an introduction to the judicial machinery of the European Union, the book goes on to assess the primary role played by the national courts in the enforcement of Community law and surveys the various direct actions that can be brought in the European Court. * Preliminary rulings of the court are examined within two contexts: the use of the procedure to test the compatibility of national law with Community law; and how the European Court can review the validity of acts of the institutions, in the light of superior Community law * Considers the Court's jurisdiction in connection with interim relief, appeals, staff cases, intellectual property, conventions, and police and judicial co-operation in criminal matters
