Description
Alexander Baillie's "Kurrachee - Past, Present, and Future", orginally published in 1890, is an account of the city and port of Karachi as seen some 50 years after the British occupation of Sind in 1839. This reprint contains a new introduction by Yasmin Lari, author of "The Dual City: Karachi Under the Rag" (OUP, 1996), and illustrations by Ishrat Suhrawardy.
