Description
In 1984, the year in which the first "yacht house" was built, boatbuilding was dominated by aluminium technology. Its place has been replaced by composite materials. Richard Horden's architecture has continued to evolve parallel to these developments. His work is guided not by a blind passion to technology, but by the knowledge that technology can function in a synergetic way to bring man closer to nature - as Horden has already demonstrated in his "Sikhaus" designs.
