This is the second of five volumes reporting on the UNU/WIDER project on new regionalism. Whereas the first volume dealt with the two processes of globalization and regionalization in more general terms, this volume presents various national perspectives on the process of regionalization in order to gain a more concrete understanding of its dynamics. It is dedicated to country studies from Europe and North America, divided between the two categories, policy makers and policy takers.
