内容説明

Given the recent advances in interventional procedures, an increasing number of patients might substantially benefit from the application of support devices in interventional cardiology. Various support devices such as intraaortic balloon counterpulsation, percutaneous cardiopulmonary bypass and transvalvular axial flow pumps are now available for use in the catherization laboratory. Presenting selected papers written by acknowledged experts in the field, this publication describes physiologic effects, current advantages, limitations and defines potential indications.
