Hailing from the university, the gallery, and the community organization, the authors - as TV watchers, recreational drug users, recipients of medical attention, caregivers, midwives, or the HIV positive - inhabit and reconfigure our contemporary painscape, offering an alternative approach to the puzzle of pain.
