内容説明
Architects the world over have long been directly influenced by film imagery. The power of the medium of film is so far-reaching and influential in all aspects of our everyday lives that it has become a major frame of reference. It is an integral part of today's culture and therefore it is important and interesting to assess both film's impact on architecture and architecture's impact on film. Whereas the original "Architecture and Film" discussed the relationship between film and architecture by studying popular examples at the time, this edition takes a broader, multi-faceted look at the representations of architecture on the big screen through the use of examples from a range of times and genres, as well as presenting projects from world renowned architects who cite film as their major source of inspiration. This issue also features an exclusive look at the work of the film crew on the James Bond film, "The World is Not Enough" who are utilising the diverse architectural features of Bilbao and Swindon.
