内容説明
This work aims to examine and discuss the attitudes and practices of white counsellors with African-Caribbean and South Asian clients. It identifies what influences the ability of the counsellors to work effectively and appropriately with the culturally different client. The author reviews existing literature, surveys the British Association of Counselling membership, interviews counsellors, and uses video response measures to obtain the self-reported attitudes and practices of counsellors. Recommendations are made for the training and supervision of counsellors.
