This book offers historical information, theory, practical ideas and opinion about a variety of aspects of nurse education. It is aimed at all those who are involved in the process of nurse education: students, tutors and lecturers, nurse managers and clinical practitioners. It is divided into three parts. Part 1 offers a review of the history of nurse education, showing how people, laws and institutions have affected nursing education. Part 2 considers a variety of topical curriculum issues and explores them critically.
