Provides a broad overview of more than 30 contemporary artists. Their ideas cover all areas of the fine arts spectrum and are inspired by the unconventional "Young British Art" scene, whilst being stimulated by the dynamics and attraction of Berlin. The selection has been made in accordance with the artists' focus on life in Germany, regardless of their nationality. Franz Ackermann, Simone Bohm, Matti Braun, Daniel Richter and Heidi Specker are amongst the artists included in this volume.
