Description
Formerly known as "Jane's Military Logistics", this publication has been renamed to emphasize the many vehicle specifications covered by this yearbook but not previously reflected in its title. In any combat system the trained soldier is ineffective in his role if he cannot get the equipment he needs when and where he needs it. Ammunition, food, fuel, repairs, mines, amphibious vehicles, water, field fortification and camouflage are all essential elements comprising military support operations. This edition includes coverage of recovery vehicles and equipment, transport equipment and trucks, materials handling equipment, bulk fuel storage, portable roadways, water supplies, shelter and containers, vehicle bodies, mine warfare and detection equipment, field fortifications and emplacement, bridging systems, armoured engineer vehicles, camouflage and decoys. This yearbook is also available on CD-ROM.
