Description
Those working in the publicly-funded sector, including public, government and local government libraries, have a special need to be up to date with copyright. This guide briefs the public librarian with the changes to copyright law and other copying agreements affecting the sector, including Publication Right and rules affecting access and use of databases. Also new to this guide is advice dealing with copyright in local history materials. The Library Association "Copyright Guides" are designed for ease of use. Each guide focuses on a particular type of library and simplifies the complexities of copyright as applied to that subject area, whether in digital or printed format.
