内容説明
Steels are by far the most important construction materials for many applications. Many modern concepts of materials science are being used in steels, for example in micro-alloyed steels minute amounts of alloying elements form nanoscale carbides to yield superior strength values. All of these mechanisms have to be controlled in the production facilities on a hundreds-of-tons-scale. This book addresses new concepts for improving the efficiency of production technologies.
目次
- Near-net-shape casting
- modelling
- microstructural development during production
- microstructure-property relationship
- alloy design of new steels.
