Proceedings of a March 2000 conference on all aspects of design, verification, and testing of hardware and software for complex, embedded electronic circuits and systems. Addresses new techniques for improving performance of design tools and reports on results gained during application of innovative methods and tools, encompassing both hardware and embedded software design issues. Also discusses elaboration of design requirements and new architectures for applications such as wireless communications, multimedia, and automotive systems. Specific topics include telecom systems, BIST for mixed-signal applications, and architectural-level synthesis.
