Description and Table of Contents

Description

Since 1996, Tadashi Kawamata has created various wooden installations as stages of his "Work in Progress in Zug". Together they mark out a path linking the Kunsthaus, the old town and the lakeside area. It begins with a wooden pathway that leads out from the museum into the city and ends in a park-like idyll with a footpath at "Bruggli". Situated in between are ten small bathing huts on the lakeshore beach and an arena at Landsgemeindeplatz laid out like an amphotheatre.
