内容説明
The papers presented in this volume underline the complex variation patterns and dependencies of ionospheric parameters in the high latitude ionosphere. It became apparent that a different treatment had to be selected for this part of the globe. The proceedings paved the way for regional mapping, storm-time updating and introduction of auroral boundaries and characteristics to be incorporated to bring IRI closer to real conditions. Subsequent to these presentations, improvements will be introduced into IRI.
