内容説明

Interventional physiology refers to the pathophysiological aspects of coronary artery disease that can be observed in the catherization laboratory. This book is a compilation of articles published in "Catherization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis" discussing physiologic measurements before and during coronary interventional procedures, ranging from angioplasty (reconstruction of blood vessels damaged by disease or injury), and stent placement to atherectomy (removal of plaque from the lining of an artery) and coronary thrombolysis. Individual sections address fundamental principles, intermediate coronary lesion assessment, variants of normal anatomy, collateral flow, acute myocardial infarction, coronary dissection, and coronary transplant physiology.

目次

  • Introduction to physiology rounds: case studies in coronary pressure and flow for clinical practice
  • fundamentals of pressure and flow in small tubes
