The aim is to gether specific information on the way that the manifestations of aphasia impact on conversation for the person with aphasia and his/her conversational partner. The CAPPA comprises: a structured interview to conduct with the person with aphasia and his/her conversational partner; and a method for analysis of a 10-minute sample of unscripted conversation between the conversational partner and the person with aphasia.
