Description
Willem Adolf Visser 't Hooft was the first general secretary of the WCC, and one of the chief architects of the 20th-century ecumenical movement. This booklet was published as a contribution to the celebrations of his birth one hundred years earlier. The author analyzes and evaluates the activities of W.A. Visser 't Hooft, and outlines his theology, and his concern for the promotion of lay people, women and youth in the ecumenical movement.
