Jatarupa's commentary is the oldest extant commentary on the Amarakosa. It is in two parts Part-1 contains an Introduction and Part II the text. Jatarupa's commentary is an important piece of Indian lexicographical literature because it is the oldest available commentarial literature on classical lexicography in general.
