This volume presents fifteen papers synthesizing the archaeological and environmental data gleaned from surveys and excavations of Salado culture, which flourished from the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries. These papers place the Roosevelt archaeological research into southwestern regional context and try to generate a statement on Salado.
