This volume presents findings on the biological, neuropathological, and clinical aspects of schizophrenia and explores innovative treatment strategies based on the latest scientific research. Topics examined in depth include the genetics of schizophrenia, the positive negative distinction, in vivo studies of brain morphology, serotoninergic and dopaminergic mechanisms in schizophrenia, and the neuroanatomical specificity of action of a typical antipsychotic drugs.
