Description and Table of Contents
Description
Volume two of a projected three-volume work, this book discusses the work of ten Italian novelists from Luigi Capuana to Federigo Tozzi and covers, roughly, the period from the latter part of the last century to the Fascist period. A third and final volume, beginning with Aldo Palazzeschi and ending with the leading novelists of the 1950s, will complete this distinguished trilogy which will extend as well as correct and modify our present knowledge of the Italian novel in English-speaking countries.
